What this tool does
A focused job, with a visible boundary.
Create a cleaner link, review every removed parameter, and keep the pasted URLs inside this browser tab.
Removed-parameter receipt
Required destination parameters preserved
Know the limits
Local does not mean unlimited.
Browser processing protects the file from an upload workflow, but the browser, device, output format, and selected settings still matter.
- The cleaner cannot know every site-specific parameter required for a destination.
- It does not follow redirects, expand short links, or judge whether a site is safe.
- Some tracking can occur without URL parameters.
Four local steps
How to use link cleaner.
- 01
Paste one URL per line.
- 02
Clean the links using the local ruleset.
- 03
Review what was removed from each URL.
- 04
Copy the cleaned links and test important destinations.
Clear answers
Link cleaner questions.
Which parameters are removed?
The rules include common analytics, advertising, click, and social-sharing identifiers such as utm_* values, fbclid, gclid, mc_cid, and several platform-specific sharing tags.
Does the tool visit my links?
No. It parses the text locally and makes no request to the pasted destinations.
Can cleaning break a link?
It is possible when a site uses an unusual parameter that resembles tracking. Review and test important cleaned links before relying on them.
