When is a PDF page preserved exactly?
A page qualifies when it draws one full-page standalone image and no visible text, vectors, forms, inline images, or additional pictures. Original JPEG streams are copied byte for byte when available.

- CBR and RAR archives are not supported.
- PDF pages containing text, vectors, forms, several images, or ambiguous image placement require explicit rendering.
- Rendering creates new pixels and removes selectable text and interactive PDF content from those CBZ pages.
